Basic Protection

This is the most economical option, offering Basic Protection at no additional cost. Claims for loss or damage are based on weight multiplied by an amount per pound. Think carefully before agreeing to the Basic Protection option. It may not provide enough coverage in the unlikely event something is lost or damaged. If you choose it, you must make a specific statement on the “Order for Service” agreeing to it.
